I’m going to be brief here…

First, about me: I’ve spent 10 Years in Private Equity, 10 Years in Operations and have an MBA from a school you’d look upon fondly.

I’ve executed or been “co-pilot” on deals that fall into both Growth Equity and Distressed/Turnaround though I’ve spent more time in the latter category.

Why am I doing this? Simple – because I can and because I enjoy it. I think there is far too much information that isn’t explained clearly within the worlds of finance and operations. I’ve been there and done that “a bit” so I’m on a mission to help.

My goal in writing this is to get thoughts in my head out on paper that I think can help people – either in professional or academic settings.

Oh yeah, you might wonder why I chose “Pluto’s Helmet” as the name for this blog (is that what this is?)…

Pluto’s Helmet is a protective shield against the dark forces of the underworld. In my own humble way, I hope that the words you find here protect you from mishaps that could have been avoided or better navigated through if you had the right help.
